San Juan: San Juan Shuttle Services
Valle's Trading Post: (Mexican Hat), phone
# 435-683-2226, $60.00/vehicle, $1.00/day/vehicle storage fee.
Typcially, vehicles are stored at Mexican Hat until the day you are taking off.
Drivers will shuttle vehicles to Clayhills Crossing and then they need to be driven back
to Mexican Hat. The other option is to have the vehicles dropped off at Clayhills
Crossing. This is an additional $100.00. All vehicles will be shuttled down
to Clayhills and left. The extra $100 covers the cost of using one of their vehicles
to bring all their drivers back to Mexican Hat. They also shuttle vehicles from Sand
Island to Mexican Hat. The cost is $20.00. Typically, people drive their cars
to Mexican Hat, then a driver will shuttle them all back to Sand Island in one of your
vehicles, and then return to Mexican Hat. If you would prefer to have them drive one
of their own cars to shuttle the drivers, then it is $30.00.
KD Shuttle: The other outfit who does San Juan shuttles is KD Shuttle, phone #
435-672-2240. They are based primarily out of Bluff, so they typically shuttle from
Sand Island to Clayhills Crossing. The cost is $70.00/vehicle. Again, the same
arrangement as with Valle's in that you bring their drivers back. It is an
additional $120.00 to have the vehicles dropped off at Clayhills Crossing. They will
do shuttles from Mexican Hat, but I didn't inquire about it.

Note: Things to check
with each company: exclusions, pre-existing conditions, coverage, accident on and/or off
the river, helicopter evacuations, medical care afterwards, scrutinize policy carefully,
procedures to follow, notification to company after an accident, situations covered, get
it in writing, etc... you get the picture. Insurance companies will not pay a claim
unless unless it is specifically covered by the policy you purchase.
