May 12, 2011: Wow- so many new club members at this meeting! Joe's pizza and drinks drew them in.  Loved to see so many new faces.  We reviewed snowpacks, river flows and upcoming river trips- including the Ruby Horsethief Fido Float this weekend.  Hope to see you on the river soon.  We'll all be back on the Ark ~weekend of June 4.  Taos Box will be a decision point trip based on flow- we'll send out the word by May 18th.  Flows are not looking promising at the moment but that could change. Also updated the group on Flaming Gorge dam Operations (Green river) and Dolores options (slim). Added new club members to the roster and posted on our Yahoo group tonight.  If you want to contact club members about trips, connect via the club roster, Facebook page or Twitter!

Apr 13, 2011: Wonderful turnout for the club meeting at Famous Dave's.  Talked about snowpack (good in northern US, not great in SW) and upcoming river trips.  River trip talk included upcoming river cleanups, Ruby/Horsethief (see below), San Juan, Deso, Taos Box, Yampa (May 27 and 28- two permits), Animas, Ark Weekend in June, Westwater and Grand.  Still firming up info on Taos Box weekend.  Passed out the updated club roster- if you want to contact club members about trips, connect via the club roster, Facebook page or Twitter!

Next meeting is at RM Rafts on May 12 - free pizza and drinks, please RSVP to Joe Kallis (saw his new boat line brochure) so he can make sure we have enough to eat!

Mar 10, 2011: Had a fun time at Champs last night- thanks Ben for getting us such a great discount.  Talked upcoming river trips on the Yampa, Grand, Westwater, Taos Box, dog float trip to Ruby/Horsethief, etc… Our next club meeting is April 14th at Famous Dave’s.
